Land Rover Parts: Returns Policy Is A Flat Out Robbery.

Growing up in Africa, I’ve always dreamt of owning a Land rover defender or discovery, due to the American dreams, I now owned a Land rover discovery which I love and take great care of.  I even paste a photo of my next dream Land Rover LR 3. I am a big fan of Land rover 24/7.

Despite it’s a used Land rover, but I maintain it well, all regular turn up and all the Land rover 140 points inspections. And I always purchased all my spare parts from the Land rover dealership here in Alexandria, Virginia, (Land Rover Of Alexandria).

Five months ago now, I need brake pads for my discovery, I went and purchased it from Land rover Alexandria, whatever happened, I ended up with the wrong brake pads, when I took it to my mechanic, he just look at the box and realized it’s the wrong pads for a Land rover discovery, which is o Kay as long as I just have to returned it and get the right pads or just get my money back which is always guaranteed by Land rover. But my Mechanic got the right brake pads order from the Land rover dealership in Dulles, Virginia. To make story short, I returned the brake pads back to Land rover Of Alexandria, the boxes were seal and untouched. They promised me that Land rover headquarter will send me back my money in check to my home address in full. That’s was five months ago now.

As a regular person with lot of responsible thinking, I’ve been calling Land rover Alexandria, Land rover head office, no one seems to help me get my money back. It get a bit funny or crazy when one imagine that a respectable and reliable company like Land rover of American can be so way off track to hold on to my little money and giving me the turn around.

Some how, is not just about the money or the service, but as a trusted Auto company with lot of credibility’s, they have to maintain there respects and do business as clear and straight forward. It seems that I just don’t know who to talk to at the Land rover dealership or main office.

Despite the Auto industries is going through hard times as many other industries are, but Land rover don’t have to lost there credibility’s or fair services to there customers.

My money must be return and there is no excuses for anything what so ever. I didn’t went and beg for the spare parts, I paid for it and if I returned it unused, I deserves my money back without a fight. I am not going to let this go, it’s my money.

Buyers, beware out there. It doesn’t matter what kind of business, open your eyes and don’t get sucked in by those big dealerships or big company. The World is getting tricky and people are always going to take advantage if you let them and if you don’t stand up for what’s right.
